Many manufacturers benefit from the use of Microsoft Dynamics NAV add-ons. It helps their business become more productive and competitive in the long term. Of course, it always helps to learn more about the software as a whole. This is especially the case as new updates to NAV roll out on a frequent basis. Companies can do a lot more with some education in how to function better with the software. That’s why there is a recent effort to introduce user-focused education of NAV at a broad level, with the first conference expected to happen in the coming months.
According to MSDynamicsWorld, the first NAV User Group Focus event will occur on June 7 and 8 in Schaumburg, Illinois outside Chicago. The event, sponsored by NAVUG, will concentrate on giving users a more thorough, hands-on education in the Dynamics NAV environment. As Dynamics Communities, Inc. will host the occasion, it will take cues specifically from its other conference, AXUG Focus.
The purpose of NAVUG Focus is to create an environment for users, particularly managers and engineers, to better understand the software and apply it to their jobs. There are three tracks for the two-day event, one specifically for manufacturing. What makes it special is it’s full of in-depth courses, each 90 minutes long, that focus on specific aspects of the software as it relates to a field. One example of the courses is “Multi-level Manufacturing in Dynamics NAV,” which helps users understand the potential of the software to grow with their companies.
On top of education courses, users can participate in NAVUG certification exams provided by the Association of Dynamics Professionals. By learning about the development side of Dynamics NAV, users can get credentialed in it. It will help them eventually learn how to develop add-ons and code on their own, which can benefit their companies in the long term.
